Biography of Becker Mayer Stangl

The question often asked by observers is ”why our pictures do not indicate how divers we are from one another”.
Becker Mayer Stangl: „The very fact that we don’t understand this is the art. Differences and unity, that is the art.
By relating our differences during the painting process unity unfolds.”
LORORULU: „…and I come into being, entirely new every time.”

The first cooperative work 1995 was a happy raid on the random. It happened - we submitted.
Understanding of the picture evolves through working on it. LORORULU is an entity that emerges through interaction.

Margit Mayer, 1962 - comes from the woods...
Helga Stangl, 1943 - is still astonished about woods.
Susanne Becker, 1941 until 2014 - her merciless quest for the systemic animal, however, starts later.
